West Byfleet Golf Club

I was not expecting a pre-booked room and food with this view to be available at a Golf Club. As this was for a funeral, it was quite a sensitive time. However the atmosphere was relaxing and we were welcomed by a members only club and the food was fantastic. It far exceeded my expectations and from what I heard it is of great value too for price per head and room hire. The only suggestion would be to have something sweet, it may be an extra or they don't offer it I'm not sure as I didn't book it. The facilities are very nice, bathrooms and changing rooms are of a high standard and the view is great looking over the 1st and 18th holes. The room is of decent size and can accommodate 25 people max i would say.

This course is a hidden Surrey gem it’s rare that I come back to a course twice in a year as there’s so much choice in Surrey I have played this course three times now in one Summer as it keeps bringing me back the fairways are brilliant with bunkers well placed to catch you out and the greens are very good. I would say this is a thinkers course you can’t bomb it of the tee every time with a driver so irons are a must which I love there’s a great mixture of holes with some par 4s needing a driver and long iron into the greens and the par three are certainly not to be taken for granted. There’s been a very warm welcome in the pro shop and members are very friendly around the course and clubhouse if this course wasn’t a 40min drive from home I would become a member we have played from 4pm and it’s the best £35 I’ve ever spent on a round of golf I will be back for sure and would highly recommend to other golfers.
